The Grandkid, by John Lazarus
Jacob Rothstein, a widowed professor in his 60s, finds his calm routine interrupted by the arrival of a new roommate: his 19-year-old granddaughter, who has enrolled at the university where he teaches. Starting from their unique connection as soul mates, they bridge the generation gap with wisdom, wit and warmth to negotiate a new relationship that must deal with three tricky topics: sex, politics and religion. A comedy for boomers, teenagers, and everyone in-between.
