Bedroom & Boyfriends 2
Bedrooms & Boyfriends 2 is friskier and funnier than the first and features the premieres of three short plays by Samantha Ginn, Jonathan Hammond and Michael Mizerany. All three brand new plays are staged on the same bedroom set and explore themes of love, lust, sex and romance. Surprising, innovative, and provocative, Bedrooms & Boyfriends 2 is a bold, complex and unapologetic look at relationships. Come to laugh. Come to cry. Come to bed.
Michael Mizerany's new comedy, My Life As A Sitcom, satirizes the tropes, catch phrases and contrivances of situation comedies. From Soap to Will & Grace to My Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, My Life As A Sitcom pays loving and sardonic tribute to solving lifes problems in under 23 minutes. In this episode, Beau and Drum are getting married. On the eve of their wedding, Beaus homophobic sister, Jolene, arrives unexpectedly and reveals an earth-shattering secret. Mayhem and hilarity ensue. Written & Directed by Michael Mizerany.
Jonathan Hammond will premiere the new play, Delivery. Giorgio is a Wise Guy whose mysterious pizza boy may be offering up more than a slice of cheese in this dramedy stuffed with twist and tough guys. Written by Jonathan Hammond. Directed by Katherine Harroff.
Samantha Ginn will present her new comedy Pigs In A Blanket. Dan, a talented pianist, is celebrating his birthday. Unfortunately, Dans boyfriend cant make the party so he sends Dan a birthday gift: a singing telegram. Steve, a ukulele strumming strip of bacon shows up at Dans door. A funny and expected evening of connection, music and birthday surprises sizzle in the bedroom. Written & Directed by Samantha Ginn.
