Medicine Making 1: Teas, Tinctures and vinegars
Knowing these three preparations well is the foundation to getting success with herbal medicine. Tea, for example, is a very versatile preparation that is not only taken internally, but also used externally on rashes, burns, cuts, dandruff the list goes on.
This is a comprehensive intensive workshop on how to make the three most important herbal preparations in western herbalism. We will make each preparation in class, and receive full instruction on each, including what herbs work well for each preparation, and what situations call for which preparations.
You'll go home with one ounce of tincture and one ounce of infused vinegar. It's a hands on class, so bring an apron if you'd like to participate without getting colorful vinegar on your clothes
