Maya Lin - Henry Art Gallery Distinguished Artist Lecture
Perhaps more than any other public artist, Maya Lin has captured the heart and soul of the American people with her design of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C., and of the Civil Rights Memorial in Montgomery, Alabama.
Lin will discuss her current sculptural works on view at the Henry [Maya Lin: Systematic Landscapes, April 22 - September 3, 2006] as well as her work for the Confluence Project.
This lecture will take place at KANE HALL on the University of Washington campus.
