COAST TO COAST - An All-Out Beer and Seafood Anniversary Dinner
It's been a great 12 months for the taproom at our Lincoln Avenue brewery. After years of guests bringing their own food, we developed a food program under the guidance of longtime friend, Chef Nick Lacasse.
To celebrate this milestone we decided to retrace the beginnings of Nick's culinary journey that took him from New England to Seattle. We'll create an ambitious meal of seafood consisting of both raw and cooked mollusks, crustaceans and branchial creatures. To extend our appreciation to you for making our first year of food a success, we've decided to make this sumptuous meal available for the price of a fine meal in 1994.
Here's how it will work:
- Guests arrival at 6:30 for hang-times inside the brewery. We'll have both East and West Coast oyster shucking stations. We'll dive deep into the bivalve underworld while enjoying some seldom seen Half Acre beers. Meantime, waiters dressed like lobsters, will pass around trays of Beef Tartare Toast, Vietnamese Mango and Vegetables Spring Roll.
- We'll then move into the taproom for the seated portion of the meal:
1 > Mini Lobster Rolls, celery leaf, parsley, clarified butter on toasted bun.
2> Tuna Poke on Persian cucumber boat, cilantro, mint, sesame.
3> Suzuki Ceviche Tostada, poblano guacamole, squid ink tostada.
4> Cioppino: A white wine-based seafood tomato/saffron stew packed with shrimp, mussels, clams, octopus, squid.... you get the point?!
5> Dessert: Apple turnovers, Calvados caramel sauce, vanilla bean whipped Mascarpone
Ticket price for this celebration is $65 per person. Price includes all food and unlimited pours of our beers. 40 seats only.
