Ira Spaulding, music director of Hudson Chorale and baritone with a career as a recitalist that spans the globe, will perform a benefit recital on Sunday, March 19, 2017, starting at 3:00 pm at the Church of St. Barnabas in Irvington. This fundraising event will benefit the Hudson Chorales orchestra fund. Help us hire a professional orchestra for our June concert while having a musically marvelous time. St. Barnabas Episcopal Church, 15 North Broadway, Irvington, NY, at 3:00 pm.
Spaulding will sing lieder by Mozart and Schubert, early Italian arias, and spirituals, in English, Italian and German. Spaulding has performed as a recitalist for more than 37 years, both in the United States and around the world. He will be accompanied by Fia Hill, Assistant Accompanist for Hudson Chorale as well as Music Director of Christ Church, Tarrytown.
Guests will enjoy wine, hors doeuvres and sweets.
