Valley District Dental Society - Dental Connections April 12th
Attendees will be made aware of the different types of abuse and how they apply to the dental arena. Learn the warning signs that may indicate abuse and neglect, and discuss common injuries associated with maltreatment. The resources to help identify injuries indicative of abuse will also be discussed. As mandated reporters, attendees will learn how and what to report, as well as why child and elder maltreatment is a public health problem and how it affects the health of their patients.
