The 1947 Halter Dress
Float into that holiday party with this classic halter dress! Making this timeless style featuring a fitted, self-lined bodice and flared gathered skirt will help strengthen your machine and pattern following skills. We will cover how to correctly take measurements to achieve a perfect fit through simple pattern adjustments, as well as work on your zipper installation, hemming and hand-stitching techniques!
Machine and tools are provided. As always all materials are supplied and included in the class cost!
Skills required: Novice (You can thread a machine, wind a bobbin, and execute straight and curved stitches and have completed a few previous projects.)
Class length: 3 weeks, 2.5 hours/class
Class sessions:
Fridays 5-7:30pm: 11/2, 11/9, 11/16
or
Wednesdays 2-4:30pm: 11/28, 11/5, 11/12
