Urban Gardeners and Farmers, become informed about Berkeleys proposed Urban Agriculture Package. This new measure defines and supports urban agriculture activities to increase food grown in Berkeley. Get answers as to where the legislation is in the adoption process. Information will be discussed on gardening unoccupied residential lots, in commercial zones or hillside spaces, types of gardens including rooftop gardens, and the process for starting or maintaining an existing garden. Brandi Campbell Wood, Chief of Staff to Mayor Jessie Arreguin, will speak at the Ecology Center on this topic. Co-sponsored by the Berkeley Community Gardening Collaborative.
