Annie Alexander

Annie Alexander, a healer with a background in Peace and Conflict Studies, will aid us in exploring the impact of social biases on our daily lives. We will journey together toward healing through noticing the roles we all play to uphold systems that do not allow us to be our true selves. In this hands-on workshop, we will explore how racism affects the media, education, housing, the criminal justice system, and our personal lives. What happens when we are willing to look at ourselves as participants in this system? How does vulnerability aid us in choosing a path that benefits all people? Why does this work matter in Pittsburgh and beyond?
