Holiday Village Lecture
Our popular miniature village display is back this season with new structures, new surprises and newly repurposed island materials. Bainbridge's own Dwight Shappell brings his hand-made, highly detailed models to the Visitor Center for everyone to enjoy. There are even trains that weave in and around the "town" for extra excitement. Keep an eye out for the newest addition: a replica of the artist's grandparents' home.
Enthusiasts will want to hear Mr. Shappell's November 25th lecture on the history and inspirations behind this special collection, which he has created over the course of decades.
