The Jungle Gym: A staged reading
Continuing in our tradition of highlighting stories with strong, female characters by incredibly talented playwrights, we are proud to announce our next staged reading, The Jungle Gym. Local playwrights Renee Calarco and Ally Currin joined together with New Yorker Jason Odell Williams to create a triptych of plays about the relationships between the people who spend a lot of time at playgrounds: parents. Children take a backseat as we watch the adults experience the ebb and flow of friendships, marriages, love, and loss. Jessica Lefkow directs a cast including company members Toni Rae Brotons-Salmi, Allyson Harkey, and Karen Lange joined by Maboud Ebrahimzadeh, Farrah Lawal, and Adrienne Nelson.
