Workshop: Hunting for your Home's History
This workshop will lead you through the steps of how to research your home's history. You will learn where to find primary source documents, online resources, and which local institutions have archives that will help your search, including at the Elmhurst History Museum. Instructor Jean Guarino, PhD, is an independent writer and researcher, specializing in the fields of architecture and historic preservation. Her experience includes developing landmark nomination reports for historic buildings and teaching at the college/university level.
