Do you ever wish Richmond Shakes shows could be a little funnier? Do you sometimes think that the Richmond Comedy Coalition could stand a little culture? From an unlikely meeting of minds, SHAKESPROV! A night of classically-themed improv, is born.

Come see RCC regulars Matt Newman, Josh Blubaugh and Dustin Correale ruin some of your favorite Shakespeare plays! Laugh at (not with) Richmond Shakespeare actors David Janosik, Thomas Cunningham, Stacie Rearden-Hall, and Adam Mincks as they try to come up with something clever to say without the help of a script! And worst of all, try to tear your eyes away from the guaranteed disaster of Kerry McGee conquering her fear of improv!

Sit back, drink some beers and enjoy what is sure to be a hilarious, raucous, and downright bawdy night of comedy.

Doors open at 7:30, drinks and food are available through out the performance.

"The RCC have made a name for themselves as the group to see for smart, relevant comedy in the city. Their monthly improv shows at Gallery5 run the gamut from using real life stories, an audience member's Facebook page, or their iTunes library on shuffle as inspiration for their shows. Though they may have no scripts, and no clue what will happen in any given show, they've made good on one promise- it will always be hilarious."
