In this election-inspired take on Moliere's famous comedy about society and honesty, Aceste's obsession with exposing the truth in a corrupt society is undone by his fascination with flirtatious socialite, Celimene.
Aaron Sorkin-esque situations and traces of modern scandals make The Misanthrope very relevant in our modern political climate.
