Chimay "Monastic" Dinner
Trappist's Luc "Bobo" Van Mechelen will join us for a monastic three course meal with Trappist beers from Chimay, Orval, Westmalle, and Rochefort. The menu will be a hearty Flemish stew, a Liege salad and a beer batter Belgian waffle for dessert. Eat and drink like a monk and hear the story of the Trappist brewing tradition from the ebullient Bobo Van Mechelen (not much like a monk). Delicious and sure to be lots of fun.
