Sanctuary/Sustenance: Exhibition Opening
Please join ART WORKS Projects for the opening reception of Sanctuary/Sustenance: The Story of Many Journeys. Sanctuary/Sustenance traces the refugee journey from home to displacement to resettlement. This exhibition brings together six photographers in Chicago, Pittsburgh, Seattle, San Diego, and Minneapolis who each documented the arrival of refugee families to their respective cities.

Photographer Julia Rendleman will be in attendance to speak on her experience documenting a refugee came in Nepal (through a Pulizter Center on Crisis Reporting grant) as well Bhutanese families resettling in Pittsburgh.

This event is free and open to the public.
