Dead Sushi
Laughing sushi, convulsing sushi, lustful sushi, hungry sushi, and of course, killer sushi ? it?s all here in Japanese director and PFF alum Noboru Iguchi?s (Mutant Girls Squad) surreal Dead Sushi. Fueled by a campy magnetism, this unforgettable "fishploitation" experience is certain to be a cult classic among horror, comedy, and sushi lovers alike. The film follows Keiko, a young amateur sushi chef, living in the shadow of her father. Through his teachings, arcane sushi techniques and rituals are revealed and she eventually lands a position as sushi chef in a hotel. But when someone adds a mysterious serum to the sushi supply, the raw fish revolution begins. Chaos ensues among a slew of rich, spoiled businessmen who patronize the restaurant as the food begins to fight back. Will Keiko?s life be on the chopping block?
