Transgender Issues in the Mental Health Field
This three hour workshop will help to clarify the role of the mental health provider in assisting with medicalized and non medicalized gender transition. Participants will be exposed to new research, which frames current best practices for transgender clients. Additionally, educators will support attendees in becoming more adept at viewing gender transition through a family systems lens.
Each attendee will receive 3 CEUs for this workshop.
