Building a Box and Rolling it Forward
This M2DT modern dance concert highlights both local DFW and national dance artists. Muscle Memory Dance Theatre choreographers Kristin Daniels, Lesley Snelson, Jackie Beth Shilcutt and Tarah Tristan are joined by Houston's jhon r. stronks and New York City's Jalila Bell. The evening includes a wide variety of artistic visions of how modern dance can deepen the human experience. As the title implies, there will be building, boxes, and rolling, creating problems to be solved on stage. Other highlights include a premiere of a collaborative project by Snelson with local composer David Psenicka. Come early and enjoy the ambience of LIFE in Deep Ellum's art gallery and fantastic coffee house, Mokah Café.
