Course Desciption:
Everyone has goals and enjoys laughter. Sign up for a day of improv comedy training that will focus on using goals to create improv comedy scenes. This 6 hour intensive program will improve anyone's ability to focus on goals, make comedy, and laugh.
Payment required in advance. Register through brownpapertickets.
Wear comfortable clothing. Lunch break is from noon to 1pm. No lunch provided. All experience levels welcome. Class is limited to 12 people. Ages 16 and up.
Instructor:Hugh MacLeod has 25 years experience teaching improv comedy theatre. He has developed several improv comedy training programs, including StaircaseImprov and the world famous online site learnimprov.com . Hugh has formal training at the university level in performance education, family dynamics and event de-briefing. His improv teaching style involves creating a safe, supportive environment where accidental learning is fostered through laughter and fun.
