WA State Tax Fundamentals-January 23, 2017
In this workshop, well review Washington State business taxes including Business & Occupations (B&O), Sales, Use, Personal Property, and a few others that artists should be aware of. Well highlight filing methods and record-keeping tips, pointing you to other resources that may help you when its time to sit down and do your own taxes.
The workshop will provide a simple, clear, concise, thorough and complete information on your tax issues, bring your questions!
About our Presenter
Valerie Moseley is principal of Moseley & Associates LLC, a tax preparation and business advisory firm in downtown Seattle. Valerie is a CPA licensed with the Washington State Board of Accountancy and is a QuickBooks ProAdvisor. She is also a member of the Washington State Society of CPAs and a member of the American Society of Women Accountants. Valerie enjoys teaching and sharing information with her clients; she expands on this as a financial literacy volunteer with the Washington State Society of CPAs. Valerie also has a background in the performing arts and was WLA's previous Board Treasurer in 2015.
