7:20pm Presentation of Hope by Charter for Compassion

Playwright Elizabeth Coplan presents her short play, "Something Wicked," a humorously serious or seriously funny (take your pick) creative endeavor to add some humor to our post-election blues. The play, produced by Parley Productions, debuted in Seattle on December 16 at 12th Avenue Arts. Its talented cast will reprise their roles on the stage in the BIMA Auditorium.

Bainbridge Island is home to the Charter for Compassion International, an organization that started with the first TEDX award given to British historian, Karen Armstrong, and launched at the United Nations in 2009. Today the Charter works with close to 400 cities in over 50 countries along with 1600 partners to confront local and international issues. Learn more about the Charter's work shared by its director Marilyn Turkovich, and coordinator Reed Price.
