The Joy of Cheese Presents The Gastronomie 491 Face Offs
At Gastronomie 491, the term face off has nothing to do with hockey. Instead our face-offs offer half pours of comparable wines allowing people to compare and contrast different approaches to wine making within similar styles and varietals. At present we offer three pairs of face-offs and on October 2nd at 7, we're going to highlight all six wines involved and pair them with cheeses. This event will offer attendees a chance to compare wines with wines and cheeses with cheeses. Michael Whidden will present the wines and Martin Johnson will discuss the cheeses. Tickets are $20.
