New York Musical Improv Festival presents Mansical with The LuPones
The LuPones (Pittsburgh, PA) delight your ears and your eyes with a musical Harold. Improvisers with strong musical theater backgrounds, they take a single audience suggestion and weave grounded relationship based scenework with the heighten emotionally charged songs. Accompanied by an improviser/composer pianist and percussionist that looks like an Apostle, The LuPones create a full musical. And like their namesake, Patti LuPone, they take their diction and no flash photography VERY SERIOUSLY.

Inspired by a single suggestion from the audience Mansical improvises a series of connected and disconnected scenes and songs utilizing massive amounts of musicality, hyper-agreement, dancing, rapping and wigs.
