Mac N Cheese Cook Off!

This Mac N' Cheese cook off will raise funds for The Cholangiocarcinoma Foundation to help fund research and find a cure for bile duct cancer. (http://cholangiocarcinoma.org/)
The event will host our hometown cooks competing against each other for the title of the BEST MAC N CHEESE. Each contestant is not required to pay an entry fee. Each contestant will have a vote box and those will be tallied to determine the winner.
Entries will showcase pasta and cheese. Non-traditional ingredients are encouraged!
The First Place Winner will have the donation placed in their name, earn bragging rights, and other prizes (tbd)
The deadline for all registrations is January 20th, 2017. You will receive a confirmation that you are accepted to be in the cook off.
The following rules are to be adhered to by all cooks, ticket holders, and/or assistants:
All ingredients must be pre-cooked prior to the events. Mac N Cheese must come ready to eat. Mac N Cheese must be made from scratch; commercial mixes or canned items are not permitted as the base for the recipe.
Cooks will be provided with small serving cups and spoons. Cooks will receive one folding table and access to power. All table décor or other necessities are to be provided by the cooks.
Each cook will receive an email detailing the final number of ticket holders and will need to provide enough Mac N Cheese for each ticket holder to taste. (Each serving cup will be 2oz).
Each contestant is responsible for removing all items they brought related to their entry in the contest. No items will remain after the close of the contest.
Judging:
Mac N Cheese can be made with meat, seafood, or any additional ingredient.
Judging will be based on ticket holders. Each ticket holder will be provided with three voting cards that they will distribute to their top three favourites. The cook with the most votes at the end of the event will win.
Tasting tickets are $10 each, and will allow ticket holders to sample each recipe. Ticket sales end January 26th at 11:59pm. A select amount MAY be available at the door the day of the event.
