PhotoLUSH 2017

PhotoLUSH began as a simple idea: give budding and professional photographers an opportunity to connect, share, and inspire.

This educational and networking opportunity features some of the best photographic talent from Bellingham and Seattle. Presentations on business, marketing, art, and technique will be joined with hands-on demonstrations and model shoots for all participants. PhotoLUSH is an event for and by the local community of professional photographers who are sharing the fruits of their expertise to raise the bar for the industry.

How did the idea start? Two photographers, Clinton James and Aaron Nelson, were comparing notes on a flight home from a photography mega-conference. While the presenters were informative and inspiring, Aaron and Clinton agreed the northwest had as much talent as any Rock Star photographer they'd seen on the big stages. They sketched out the ideal event on a cocktail napkin and, two years later, PhotoLUSH 2013 was born. Look at all of us now in 2017:-).

Photographers in our part of the state are such a wealth of information and inspiration and eager to share. By providing this platform for photographers to connect and share: Our customers benefit, our industry benefits, and we get to learn from each other, breaking up our oftentimes solitary doldrums.

Registration is open to all photographers, although all classes and events are geared to the working professional. Space is limited. Registration fee includes entrance to all classes, workshops, networking sessions, snacks during the day and a full meal on Saturday, plus the VIP party on Friday.
