Improv Playhouse Radio Players will perform episodes from "The Lone Ranger" (1939) and "Gunsmoke" (1956) during the evening of September 29th at the Improv Playhouse Theater, 735 N. Milwaukee Avenue in Libertyville. Staged as an old time radio drama like those recorded in front of live audiences, the IP Radio Players have produced classics including "The Maltese Falcon", "War of the Worlds" and Bram Stoker's "Dracula". Audiences will be immersed in a space of riding into the wild west of gunfighters, tales of cattle drives, sheriffs, bad guys, cowboys and American Indiansthe epic heroes of the wild west. Travel to the prairie and small towns with the imagination of your mind and hear the tales of how the west was won! Performance times: 7:30 & 9:00 (BYOB).
