Slow Food East Bay's Fall Potlucks - North Berkeley Location

The host is already planning her Meyer lemon tart and veggies from an overflowing garden - chard, kale, beans, tomatoes, oh my!

Join us and all your like-minded Slow Food neighbors on Sunday, September 30th for an evening of fall-themed Slow Food potlucks! We'll celebrate this amazing harvest season, sharing wonderful food and discussing issues of the day (Prop 37... Cottage Food Laws) and people's foodie hints & tips (best places to forage for figs... favorite Dandelion Green recipes... secrets for the creamiest mashed potatoes... where to get heirloom turkeys for Thanksgiving!).

We've had a number of generous folks agree to open their doors and clear their tables to host other Slow Food East Bay members for this round of potluck dinners. This is a wonderful time of year to attend farmers markets and talk to your local producers, many of whom are awash in produce -- so take advantage of the bounty, muster up a lovely, seasonally appropriate dish and prepare for a casual evening amongst like-minded friends.
