"Зима, уходи! Winter, Go Away!"
В программу включены:
фотовыставка "Оттаявшая зима", фото Алексея Харитонова, Татьяны Сушенковой и др. Выставка подготовлена благодаря поддержке Студии Фотодок при Сахаровском Центре;

показ сокращенной версии документального фильма "Зима, уходи!"; фильм снят студийцами Марины Разбежкиной и Михаила Угарова. Съемки фильма начались для дипломных работ студентов; в итоге готовый фильм оказался включен в программы нескольких российских и международных кинофестивалей;

"круглый стол" с участием политолога Владимира Кара-Мурзы (Вашингтон), активистов протестного движения Павла Ходорковского, Ксении Грубштейн и Игоря Сатановского (Нью-Йорк), а также главного редактора инфомационного сайта "Портал-Кредо" Александра Солдатова (Москва). Модератор - журналист Светлана Вайс.

Библиотека благодарит Институт Современной России и Центр Сахарова, также лично Светлану и Константина Вайс, Леонида Зоншайна и Павла Ивлева, за помощь в организации этой программы.

На русском и английском языках. Фильм на русском языке с английскими субтитрами.

The program includes:
Photo exhibit "Unfrozen Winter", works by Alexey Kharitonov, Tatyana Sushenkova and others. The exhibit is made possible with the support of Studio Fotodoc at the Sakharov Center, Moscow;

Screening of the extended trailer of a documentary "Winter, Go Away!" The film started as a school project for the students of Marina Razbezhkina and Mikhail Ugarov. It ended up being included in several Russian and international film festivals;

A panel discussion: political analyst Vladimir Kara-Murza (Washington, DC); political activists Pavel Khodorkovsky, Xenia Grubshteyn and Igor Satanovsky (NYC) and Aleksandr Soldatov, editor-in-chief of the news site "Portal-Credo" (Moscow).

The Brooklyn Public Library wishes to express its gratitude to the Institute of Modern Russia and the Sakharov Center, and personally to Svetlana and Konstantin Vais, Leonid Zonshain and Pavel Ivlev, for their help in organizing this event.
