With truth, heart, and determination, first-generation artists Jasmine Chen and En Lai Mah embark on a journey to understand their immigrated Chinese parents. Through a series of personal interviews, The Mother Tongue Project is an interdisciplinary performance that uses song, dance, and martial arts to figure out where we are and where we go from here. A show for those who wish they spoke to their parents more.
