Dance and New Media Conference
Integrating Dance and Technology In University Dance Programs is a conference designed for faculty who teach Dance for the Camera, Video, Interactive Media, Multimedia Dance, or any variation on dance and new media or technology in their university dance department curriculums. We also invite arts organizations, arts technology departments, or new media and performance programs that encourage collaboration with dance.
The purpose of the conference is to discuss how dance departments, and technology and performance programs can integrate new media into their curriculums in a way that both teaches students appropriate technologies and opens them up to creative possibilities in the expanding field of new media.
