ReOrient 2012 Rumi x 7: Tales From the Masnavi
This unique and visually engaging family production brings to life the dynamic story-telling traditions of Rumi through a lyrical fusion of circus arts and classical Persian poetry performed by an ensemble of actors, acrobats, dancers and musicians. Drawing from folk tales as well as sacred history, Rumi's poetry is often comic as well as spiritually profound and Masnavi is widely recognized as his cornerstone work as the most celebrated poet of the Sufi tradition.
