Karma Karmelita Workshops
- The Mermaid Concept: Liquefied Motion -
As a professional mermaid, I have gained extensive knowledge and experience in working in the water. This has given me a unique perspective on three dimensional movement when on the stage. This course is approximately 2 hours long and teaches part of a breath-taking choreography. Dont be fooled by the name! While it sounds slow and fluid, you will work up a sweat, so plan accordingly!
- Spins, Turns, Stops, and Drops -
Learn techniques to perfect all of them! Students will learn turns and spins of all kindsvarying in speed, width, level changes, and arm patterns. Stop on a dime and pause to the music to bring your performance to a deeper level. We will also go over unique and powerful ways to descend to the ground as either a transition for floorwork or a fantastic finishing move.
- Unleash the Beast -
Summon your inner Amazon and learn intense and dynamic combinations and technique stylization to punch your audience in the face! (Metaphorically, of course). Foot stomps, tight spins, hair-o-graphy, and powerful movements come together to form unique combinations that students can use in their own shows. Not for the faint of heart, this workshop will challenge students both physically and creatively! RAWR!
