Relief Printmaking

Try your hand at printmaking and discover the fun of trying a new way of making art! Learn how to carve a print a block print, using Safety-Kut or Gold Linoleum printmaking blocks, which are easy to carve. Make an edition of prints.
Instructor: Dixie Laws
Dixie Laws is a Sacramento printmaker. She has a BA from UC Davis and an MA from Sac State. She is a member of Axis Gallery and the California Society of Printmakers. She is an experienced teacher of adults and children. Most recently, she was a consultant at Art in Public Places at the Sacramento Metro Arts Commission.

Age: 16+
Price: $55, plus $10 materials fee
Registration deadline: October 2nd (Late registration fees apply after October 2nd)
