Mixed Media Madness
Participants will examine and discuss contemporary mixed media artists, before beginning a project that utilizes different types of painted surfaces, gesso, cardboard, gel mediums, glue, jewels, string, feathers, leaves, fabric, and more. Wear cloths to paint in.
Instructor: Jodi Dillon
Jodi Dillon studied graphic design at UCD and worked in publishing before returning to school for a teaching credential. She has spent the last 10+ years as an educator in art and standard curriculum in the Sacramento City Unified School District, and is currently working with elementary aged children at Phoebe Hearst Elementary School. She will be traveling to China this summer to teach art to special needs orphans.
When: November 3rd and November 10th, 1:30PM 3:30PM
Age: 12 15
Price: $62, plus $15 materials fee
Registration deadline: October 30th (Late registration fees apply after October 30th)
