UBU FAUST by Brodrick Jones
Ubu assumes the role of Faust in this raucous, rapid-fire bastardization of Punch and Judy. Contains boorish villainy, laughable special effects, gratuitous wordplay, and puppet sexuality. Minimal audience participation. (Except in one bit.)(Well, three.)(But they're relatively painless.)
Roman Meal
Local collaboration Down With Pants presents Roman Meal, a pantsless tragicomedy in one act. Herstory vs. hysteria, endgame class war distinctions and malicious compliance in the last days of empire Dance, romance, gorey depravity and indirect action through the slapstick-cracked lens of an ancient, but timeless Family outing. Starring Ashe/Vaude-villians Claire Dima, Rod Murphy, Gina Murphy, Todd Lester, & writer/director Corr de Joch, (plus Surprise Appearances).
Down With Pants
Roma Meal was written for feral locals Gina & Rod Murphy & Todd Lester, from Synergy Storyslam & the band ROND. With the crucial and auspicious addition of Claire Dima (found World Bellydance), writer Corr de Joch scored the cast hed sworn he wouldnt direct this play without, and Down With Pants came to be.
