Spuyten Duyvil (Spitting Devil) is the name of a confluence of turbulent waters. Mixed performance/visual media and an intergenerational cast explore the questions: is violence inevitable? What does protection mean? Can we call on forces greater than ourselves? Does memory live in the land? A movement/film/sculpture installation in 3 acts (9 scenes) directed by Amy Hamilton.
