HANSEL & GRETEL presented by The Frisch Marionette Co.
This charming production of the Grimm Brothers' famous tale, HANSEL AND GRETEL, features beautiful Frisch marionettes.
Two children are threatened by and eventually outwit an evil witch living deep in the forest in a house constructed of cake and confectionery. You will see how the story ends happily for everyone except the witch!
Drawing inspiration from the great European troupes such as the Salzburg Marionette Theatre, Frisch endeavors to bring one of the great old-world arts to young, contemporary imaginations.
Every aspect of a Frisch Marionette production is designed, handcrafted, created, and recorded in their own workshops. Each and every puppet is hand carved, every costume is sewn and custom tailored for for each character.
Frisch takes great pride in the craft, but even more so in excited, twinkling eyes of wonder that surround them at the end of each performance.
