Smut Slam NYC "Seconds"
You know what a poetry slam is, and maybe you know about story slams, too. Now its time for SMUT SLAM, a fast-paced storytelling open mic based on real life, real lust, real sex. Join us on Tuesday, January 10, at Three of Cups Lounge. Doors at 730, show at 8pm.
In honor of this being the second NYC show, and officially here to stay, the theme for this SMUT SLAM is "SECONDS". What went through your mind in the seconds before your first kiss? Did you take your friends sloppy seconds? Were You the sloppy seconds? Did you hook up with Jared Leto? Will he be at the show?*** We always talk about firsts, why not nexts?
Hosted by good time gal performer Trish Parry, the Smut Slam features real-life, first-person sex stories, guest stories from our panel of celebrity judges, and also THE FUCKBUCKET, a convenient and funnily named receptacle for all your anonymous questions and confessions!

SMUT SLAMMERS sign up on the night to tell a 5-minute dirty story, based on their real lives, and a lucky 8-10 names will be drawn at random.
RULES: no notes ( this is storytelling) - no costumes or props ( this is not theatre) - only five minutes, with a 1 minute grace period AND the story must be real and have happened to you. Stories are often funny and/or epic win but we want to encourage people to consider sharing their sad, disturbing, poignant, serious, simple and/or 'fail' experiences too.
TAKE NOTE: Smut Slam is queer-friendly, kink-friendly AND vanilla-friendly, fat-friendly, poly-friendly.. we are very friendly. We welcome people with all types and amounts of sexual experiences to our space. We_don't_welcome stories involving racism, transphobia, homophobia, sexism or any other discrimination, fetishization or objectification. Also, CONSENT IS KEY.
