"The Color Purple" features music and lyrics by Brenda Russell, Allie Willis, and Stephen Bray. The book for "The Color Purple" is written by Marsha Norman. It is based on the novel by Alice Walker and the Warner Bros./Amblin Entertainment motion picture.
The Firestone Theatre production of "The Color Purple" is under the direction of FHS theatre director Mark A. Zimmerman. Ron Hazelett serves as the music director.
