CATALYSTS

In its second year, these three weeks of performance showcase CATALYSTS artists-in-residence, who've been given space and time to create new works for these January premiere dates. Selected as much for their budding and established talents as they are for their individual self-motivation in making dance happen in their unique ways, the 2016/17 cohort of CATALYSTS artists include: Ryan Casey, Lorraine Chapman, Junichi Fukuda, Yosi Karahashi, and the duo, Doppleganger Dance, Danielle Davidson and Shura Baryshnikov. Representing classic and new hybrid forms including tap, modern, flamenco. CATALYSTS performances run in repertory: highlighting 4 - 5 performers per night. Guests to the series help us see dances in different combinations and configurations; we often engage the audience pre- and post- show with dialogues, guest speakers and always with refreshments offered.

*NOTE: Pre-purchased tickets will be held up until 15 minutes before the start of the performance. After this point, seats may be released.
