Session Americana with Laura Cortese
While each of the five members of SESSION AMERICANA is skilled and reputable in their own right, as a group they bring an energy and raucousness rarely seen in live folk music. Modeling their performances on community-centric Irish seisiúns, Session Americana performs a combination of original work and American roots classics, performing everything from blues to ballads, folk rock to country. Joined by a special musical guest fiddler/vocalist Laura Cortese, this all-star lineup is guaranteed to put on a self-proclaimed modern hootenanny.
Common Fence Music offers the finest folk, roots and world music in an intimate 200 seat listening room. Doors open at 7 pm to the "Folk Tailgate Party." Don't forget your picnic basket!
