2016 JAY Awards and Holiday Lip Sync Battle
Announcing our contestants for the inaugural 2016 Holiday Lip Sync Battle which will follow the JAY Awards on Monday December 5th at 701 Whaley -- and we are so excited to have these amazing folks perform for us!

And our Emcee for the night is the illustrious Terrance Henderson, recent winner of the Stephen Morrison Visionary Award!
Plus we have a silent auction of handmade Christmas ornaments by local artists, curated by Bohumila Augustinova and Lenza Jolley.
And we have platters and platters of homemade Christmas cookies made for your with love and displayed by Kara Gunter.
Bert Easter is in charge of decorations, so you know it's going to be beautiful!
Barry Wheeler is running the show for the night.
Annie Boiter-Jolley is running the door.
Kyle Petersen is doing his thing, as is Rosalind Elizabeth Graverson, who is also a contestant.
Plus, Ashley Erwin Ward will be snapping your Christmas shots at the photo booth, created by Bohumila, and featuring Bier Doc as Santa's Angry Brother, who will let you sit on his lap, have a puff of his stogie and a swig of his giant bottle of Jack, for a meager dollar donation dropped in a dirty Mason jar. For real.
We will be awarding a People's Choice Award to the contestant who gets the most votes ($1 token = 1 vote), as well as the Champion Award which will be chosen by a distinguished panel of judges. Winners, including 2 runners up, will receive arts packages provided by the lovely arts organizations that Jasper Magazine covers all year long.
Food trucks will be on hand -- announcing that soon -- so you can come straight from work and get your party on, plus still be home in bed by 11.
