Artist Guy Tillim, broadcasting live from South Africa, in dialogue with exhibition curator Karen Irvine. Guy Tillim: Avenue Patrice Lumumba examines modern history in Africa against the backdrop of its colonial and postcolonial architectural heritage. This program will take place in the Science Teaching and Student Services building across the plaza from the museum, in room 230.

Celebrate the opening of Guy Tillim: Avenue Patrice Lumumba after broadcast discussion with the artist. Guy Tillim: Avenue Patrice Lumumba examines modern history in Africa against the backdrop of its colonial and postcolonial architectural heritage. The reception will be held at WAM. Enjoy African music and delectable hors d'oeuvres. This is a free event for members (names will be checked at the door) and U of M students (with valid U card).
