Inspiring Emotions with Mackenzie Melemed
Born February 27, 1995, Mackenzie Melemed has performed at over 600 concerts and made numerous appearances including two on the PBS program From the Top. Praised as an excellent young pianist, by the New York Times he has won top prizes at competitions throughout the world, including the Juilliard School Gina Bachauer Competition in 2016. Here he presents a challenging program, including two works from the Batchour Competition by Nikolai Medtner which he could be heard performing on WQXR in September.
