Join Margo Adair and Bill Aal of Tools for Change for an exploration  

Applied Meditation works with intuition, intention and mindfulness tapping the healing  life forces flowing deep inside each of us. It offers a way to come to trust of our own awareness and be better attuned to others.

Appreciative Inquiry an approach which surfaces our best experiences through the sharing of story and finding ways to cultivate what we know works well.

This workshop will help you:
- Develop a language to speak to your inner self.  
- Tap intuition, creativity and healing powers at will.
- Find calm in the rush of day to day life.
- Create vision, set positive intention and align with it.
- Open to the state of the world & find creative responses.
- Remember our interconnections, build community.
- Create safety nets, sustain ourselves and heal our world


Margo Adair, the developer of Applied Meditation is the author of Meditations on Everything Under the Sun and Working Inside Out.  and social justice activist for many years; her work has always woven together spiritual, psychological and political perspectives. Meditation has been used by many therapists and healing practitioners around the world. She has also been a diversity trainer.

Bill Aal is a longtime political activist, organizer and trainer using popular education, Applied Meditation and other tools to help unleash the imagination for change.  He has worked with agricultural organizations, community groups and environmental justice networks in the Northwest and around the country.

Together, they co-authored the newly released Practical Meditation for Busy Souls and co-founded Tools for Change to foster bringing history, heart, spirit, values and vision into the center of public life. They offer training and consulting to communities and organizations through out the country.
