Handle With Care by Jason Odell Williams is a story about rekindling faith, which comes not a moment too soon as our nation embarks on a journey to reconcile historic principles with new challenges. It is a perfect play for the holiday season celebrating lights, family tradition, and miracles.
The plot is both humorous and catastrophic -- a Jewish Christmas story that ultimately provides an optimistic outlook on the unexpected trials and tragedies life. Handle with Care is about a Hebrew-speaking Israeli woman (impeccably performed by Danielle Devitt), who travels to America with her grandmother (Jan Berg), and finds herself negotiating an absurd series of events with a young Jewish-American man (Gabriel Frey), whose command of romance is eclipsed only by his limited recall of the Hebrew language. The two come together on Christmas Eve, in Goodview, Virginia, during a snow storm. Is this accidental or destiny in the making?
