The Hairy Ape
Ship's stoker Yank is a brute of a man who feeds the machines that run the new world, but he's befuddled and enraged by a chance encounter with a daughter of the upper classes. A desperate search for belonging leads him to a series of perilous encounters in Eugene O'Neill's modern classic that "probes the shadows of the soul of man."
