Distilling for Homebrewers
The Shannons opened their distillery in North Kansas City this past spring, and Benay will teaching us about the process, types of stills, clues from temperature and proof, and pitfalls. She will also discuss barrel aging.
Distilling at home for personal consumption is legal in Missouri. And, we have a sleek, 8 gallon stainless still you can use to get started in the craft, which we'll show you.
This class is on a Wednesday evening. Meet at the distillery--and we will show you a stainless steel pot still made for small-scale home distilling.
Class is limited to twelve.
